Winner of the Clarival do Prado Valladares award, the book "Theodoro Sampaio nos sertões e nas cidades" describes the career of engineer Theodor Sampaio, a figure who contributed greatly to the country’s modernity. The work was based on scholar Ademir Pereira dos Santos’ master’s thesis in history.
