Recognizing and Training Members at CONEST

“The initiative changes our way of thinking, since we begin to understand that when we put our knowledge into practice, it works. The gain is both professional and personal.” This is how Equipment Supervisor, Alexandre Augusto Dias, defines the Productive Leader Program, developed by the CONEST Consortium, formed by Odebrecht Engenharia Industrial and OAS.

Implemented in September of last year, the program is designed to align knowledge between the supervisors and technical assistants and prepare them to exercise the role of Leader. In nine months, 355 Members were trained.

The program is divided into five modules with four hours each, under the topics of Motivation, Quality, Health and Environment, Production Management, People and Organization (P&O) and Team Leaders, administered by consortium Members at the construction site. “The idea of implementing Productive Leader emerged at the start of the contract, since we believe that investing in workers’ development is crucial for leveraging productivity,” explained Fernanda Sampaio, responsible for P&O.

The initiative has helped improve the technical and behavioral growth of the professionals. “The program’s success is due to the fact that it is based on the awareness raising and training of the leadership, with contributes toward the growth and qualification of the Members,” said Antenor de Castro, Contract Director.
