Construtor Santo Antônio (CCSA) Consortium, of which Odebrecht Energia is part, completed the installation of the Fish Transfer System (STP), which creates a path for the animals to swim up the Madeira River during the Spawning period, guaranteeing the reproduction of the species when the Santo Antônio Hydroelectric Power Plant is operating.

The system construction was defined by the environmental studies completed for the installation of the development. In order to ensure the smooth operation of the STP, an experimental channel was built in Cachoeira de Teotônio and two years of research were conducted on the behavior of the migratory species of fish during the Spawning period.
