One of challenges that Odebrecht International faces is the mission of establishing a single standard of quality that is up to speed with the world’s most demanding markets. And without failing to respect the particular characteristics of each country when dealing with very different cultures.

Its engineering and construction services can be found in the following regions:

  • Middle East
  • Africa (with the exception of Angola and Namibia)
  • United States
  • Portugal.

In parallel to these projects, Odebrecht International has been implementing integration and development programs in the countries, together with programs to train people in the local communities. In this way, it is able to unite some 7,000 Members of 65 different nationalities in a single spirit of serving.

In 2009, it concluded the construction work for Djibuti Port and the Miami Airport South Terminal. Odebrecht International is also developing the processing plant for Vale’s Moatize coal mine in Mozambique.

Also in Africa, the Company completed projects in Libya, Liberia and kicked off projects in Guinea-Conakry.

Completing 20 years of operations in the United States, the company has several construction projects underway, including the North Terminal of the Miami International Airport and projects designed to contain flooding in New Orleans.

Also worthy of note is the construction project completed in Portugal that preserved and became part of the solution for historical monuments of Lisbon. It is called the Lisbon Internal Regional Ring Road (CRIL), a highway project that required support actions for the Águas Livres and Francesas Aqueducts, classified as National Monuments in Portugal.
